How to Read American Odds

MXRaceHub displays odds in the American format:

  • Positive odds (+150): The amount you would win on a $100 bet. Example: +150 means a $100 bet would win $150 (plus your $100 back).
  • Negative odds (-200): The amount you need to bet to win $100. Example: -200 means you need to bet $200 to win $100 (plus your $200 back).

Implied probability shows the likelihood of an outcome according to the odds. Lower probability events pay out more when they occur.
